Jobs

We currently are hiring for paid positions within MyWikis, as well as passively recruited community volunteers to help with our wikis. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to apply for the jobs listed here.

Salaried positions

These salaried employment positions are open to any potential takers. Salary will be negotiated based on skill level and position.

It is important to note that these salaried positions do not require much full-time obligation (but still have obligations) and therefore do not have the same level of salary as normal technology corporations.

All employees must have a mastery level of English and must be able to understand technical jargon used at MyWikis very quickly and efficiently. If you do not come from a country that natively speaks English, you will be required to present a TOEFL score (or equivalent English skills examination) of 100 or above, or a SAT Critical Reading score of 700 or above, or an ACT Reading score of 32 or above.

Employees seeking a programming-related position will need to satisfy one of the following requirements below. Move down the list in order. As soon as you see a requirement you have fulfilled, present that to us; disregard any further requirements!

  • Corporate references from companies for/with which you have previously worked.
  • Proof of previous open-source development experience, whether freelance, for fun, GitHub, etc.
  • If under 18: You must have obtained a 5 on the AP Computer Science exam or a similar high score on a test that measures skill of entry-level computer science.
  • If over 18: Proof that you have completed the first semester of a university's computer science program, or better yet, a bachelor's in computer science or better (e.g. MSCS, PhD CS, etc.).

You are able to select multiple jobs if you are able to handle them!
